More Time to Think: The New Timebank Feature
From time to time, the decision to call, check, raise or fold during a betting round may be extremely tough for the player to make, and he may require just a few extra seconds to make a move he feels comfortable with. This is the purpose of the new timebank feature.
Miniview Feature
In terms of perspective, the most comfortable seat at an online poker table is typically the one in the bottom center. Now the player always has the option of assuming this seat in Texas Hold’em, Omaha High and Omaha Hi-Lo cash games and in Texas Hold’em tournaments. The miniview feature allows the player to join any vacant seat at a table. When the next round begins, the table will be rotated so he views the table as if he were seated at the bottom center.
Personalized Tournament Lists
The lists of sit and go and multi-table tournaments in the poker lobby are now personalized for each player. A listed tournament is highlighted in bold if the player has either registered for it, is currently participating in it, or has competed in it.

Rebuy Functionality
In rebuy tournaments, it is possible to manually trigger a rebuy by clicking a chiptray in on the table during a hand. This is possible when the funds in the player’s bankroll are equal to or below the “rebuy trigger amount”. The rebuy pop-up message is shown at the end of the current hand.
The rebuy pop up message is shown below.
At the end of the rebuy period, all players whose bankrolls are below or equal to the "rebuy trigger amount" are offered a rebuy and an add-on in the same pop-up dialogue. Players can choose to either add-on or both rebuy and add-on, depending on the size of their bankrolls.
Pot Bets
In No Limit and Pot Limit games, the bet slider has been extended with five predetermined quick-bet buttons: minimum bet (MIN), 1/2 pot bet (1/2 POT), 3/4 pot bet (3/4 POT), pot bet (POT) and maximum bet (MAX).
Each button represents a specific bet value based on the current pot and any bets.
When a quick-bet button is clicked, the value of that bet is displayed in the BET or RAISE TO button text field.
The quick-bet buttons only set the value in the text field. A player must still click the BET or RAISE TO button make the actual bet.

New Card Game: Sökö
A new game, Sökö, is now available to ParadisePoker players – both for practice and real play. Sökö is also known as Scandinavian stud since it is native to Finland and relatively common throughout Sweden. Sökö follows the same rules as five-card stud, but includes two additional ranked hands.
Multi-Table Sit and Go Tournaments
Players can now enjoy multi-table as well as single-table sit and go tournaments. A ParadisePoker player is no longer compelled to wait for a scheduled multi-table tournament to begin. The player can spontaneously jump right into the multi-table tournament action now, when he knows he has time and a number of willing opponents. The greater the number of participants, the larger the prizes tournament players can compete for.
Tournament Credits - More Freedom of Choice
Players who win satellites now have more freedom to choose the other satellites and tournaments in which they later compete. When a player wins a satellite, he is auto¬matically registered in the upcoming tournament on the next level. However, the player can now un-register for that tournament before it begins to save the entry fee (buy-in and rake) in the form of tournament credits.
Tournament credits can be accumulated and used to cover the buy-in and rake to other satellites and multi-table or sit and go tournaments of choice. (Tournament credits cannot be used in cash table games.) The player’s current tournament credit total is listed separately under the “Poker Info” heading.
Late Registration for Multi-Table Tournaments
Now latecomers can also enjoy the multi-table tournament action. Players are able to join a multi-table tournament even after it has commenced. Allowing latecomers is an effective way to increase the prize pot in guaranteed tournaments. Late registrations can be allowed up to a certain defined point: either when a specific amount of time has elapsed after the start of the tournament or once a specific blind level has been reached. Registration automatically closes when the first player has been eliminated from the tournament.
Shushing a Bothersome Player
A user can now block the chat messages of another player who is currently seated at the same table. The user simply clicks the chat bubble icon above the annoying player’s avatar to effectively block the display of that player’s chat messages. The annoying player’s messages will remain blocked between logins until the user decides to unblock the player by re-clicking the chat bubble icon above the player’s avatar.

ParadisePoker Euro Conversion
From October 1st 2007 the base currency of the ParadisePoker software will change to Euro. This change is being implemented by our software provider – Boss Media in order to satisfy banking regulations with regards to gaming transactions in USD.
What does this change mean to you?
- From this date all Single Table and Multi Table Tournaments will be in Euros.
- You will still be able to play cash games in USD, GBP and TRY as well as Euros.
- Frequent Player Points will now be calculated based on Euro and your FPPs will be changed to reflect their Euro value. Please see our FPP Page for more information.
- All pending bonuses will now be paid out in Euro and not USD. If you have $50 in your pending bonus account, this amount will be converted to Euro’s at the exchange rate on October 1st. For example if the exchange rate is 1 USD = 0.72 EUR then your pending $50 bonus will become €36.
- The release rate for pending bonuses will now be €5 for every 100 FPP.
- The prize money for existing ParadisePoker promotions such as PokerLadder and Single Table Superstar will be converted to Euros.
- The buy-in and prize money for Guarantee and Freeroll tournaments will also change. Please see the tournaments page on our website and software for further details
- The buy-in of tournaments will change slightly to match the exchange rate.
- Your hand history will continue to display all hands in the currency that the hand was played in. All tournament hands will therefore be in EUR after October 1st.
Everything else will stay the same. If you have any questions regarding this change please feel free to contact customer support.
