New features on ParadisePoker

In response to your requests we’ve been adding new features on which to improve your poker experience with ParadisePoker. This section will highlight some of the exciting new features as and when they go live so we will always keep you up to date.

ParadisePoker now allows you to resize tables so you no longer have to worry about overlapping tables.

Players now have the option to post a straddle bet on selected tables. A straddle bet in Hold’em and other flop games is a live bet from the player who follows the big blind and would normally be under the gun. Players that act after him must call the raise, fold, or raise the bet themselves. The straddler's raise is live - if no-one else makes a raise, they have the option to re-raise after the blinds have acted.

From time to time, the decision to call, check, raise or fold during a betting round may be extremely tough for the player to make, and he may require just a few extra seconds to make a move he feels comfortable with. This is the purpose of the new timebank feature.

In addition to tournaments in Texas Hold’em, your card players can now enjoy both multi-table and sit & go tourneys in all their favourite card games, including:

• Omaha High
• Omaha Hi/Lo
• Five Card Stud
• Five Card Draw
• Five Card Draw 7-A
• Seven Card Stud
• Americana
• Sökö

With the new Network health indicator, a player can easily see if there is a problem on the internet connection between his computer and the poker system. The Network health feature keeps track of the quality of the connection in real-time.

For a quick top-up of your table balance we have added a button that opens the table cashier directly on the table, next to the menu. A click on the CASHIER button opens the table cashier and allows you to top-up your table balance in an instant.

Players can now enjoy multi-table as well as single-table sit & go tournaments. A Paradise player is no longer compelled to wait for a scheduled multi-table tournament to begin. The player can spontaneously jump right into the multi-table tournament action now, when he knows he has time and a number of willing opponents. The greater the number of participants, the larger the prizes tournament players can compete for.

Now latecomers can also enjoy the multi-table tournament action. Players are able to join a selected multi-table tournament even after it has commenced. Allowing latecomers is an effective way to increase the prize pot in guaranteed tournaments. Late registrations can be allowed up to a certain defined point: either when a specific amount of time has elapsed after the start of the tournament or once a specific blind level has been reached. Registration automatically closes when the first player has been eliminated from the tournament.
